How to Calculate Your Soul Tarot Card

What is a “Soul Card?” It’s a Major Arcana card that represents the essence of your soul’s mission in this lifetime. How do you calculate it?

Use this format:

MM + DD+ YYYY.

So, to calculate my Soul Card, I add 03+13+1966 to get 1982.

Then, we add those digits together: 1+9+8+2 = 20

If your final number is 22 or less, you've got your Soul Card. If your number is higher than 22, reduce it by adding the digits together until you get a number between 1 and 22.

In my case, my Soul Card is Judgement. This card speaks to a “higher calling”- an awakening or rebirth. This means that my soul is on a mission to level up, again and again, and let go of things that don’t serve me. I’m here to forgive and evolve. I’m a truth-seeker and someone who wants to grow. I know that I am meant for more than just surviving. I think that is spot on for me.

One more thing.. If your number before reducing was a double digit between 10 and 22, I have good news! You’ve got a double card pairing. This usually happens when your total is between 19 and 22. In my case, I had the number “20” above. If I reduce it by adding 2+0, I get a “2”, which is the High Priestess. I’ll take it! The High Priestess brings intuitive mystical energy to the table, which I would think is helpful with my mission to level up (Judgement). Check out my Soul cards below.
