Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any questions that are off limits?
As I am not qualified in these areas, I don’t read about matters related to health, pregnancy, legal issues, etc. I encourage you to seek advice or counsel from a professional instead.
Are there ever times when you won’t do a reading?
I will not read for anyone under 18 without the permission of a parent or guardian, for anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or for anyone who is belligerent or agitated. I will also not do a reading to see what someone else is doing or feeling, as that would be a breach of privacy and an attempt to control what is uncontrollable. I will keep the focus on you and what you can control.
Will the cards tell my future?
Tarot doesn’t hand you a schedule of next Friday’s events. It provides insight, energy patterns, and potential outcomes. Think of it as a GPS for your soul, not a crystal ball.
Do I have to believe in tarot for it to work?
No, but an open mind certainly does help. If you do a reading to prove it wrong, you waste your time and money.
Is Tarot evil / against my religion?
Tarot is not about summoning demons; the cards are just cardboard with pictures. It’s a spiritual tool, not a dark ritual. If your belief system has boundaries, respect them.
Can tarot readings be wrong?
Absolutely. It’s an intuitive art, not an exact science. Sometimes the message can get lost in translation, especially when you ask the same question several times, hoping for a different answer.
Can I get a reading for someone else?
I won’t deeply dive into someone else’s business without their consent. Instead, you could ask, “How can I support (insert name)?” or “What do I need to understand about my relationship with (insert name)?”
How often should I get a reading?
As often as you need guidance, not validation. If you are pulling cards daily, hoping the Tower card turns into the Lover card, it might be time for a break.
